SAVE THE CHILDREN
CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY
Let’s share it!
Christmas Jumper Day is an event when Save the Children invites us to wear a Christmas jumper to raise funds for children in need. It is a perfect opportunity to organise a party with your friends and colleagues, to have fun while also doing something positive. This year too Save the Children has sent its Christmas Jumper Day Pack 2018 to teachers and students so that schools can also take part in the most Christmassy charity event of the year.
The pack sent to schools includes instructions on how to take part in the event, the poster, the letter with the postmark and personalised gadgets such as pins and a self-inflating Christmas bauble. In order to combine fun and learning, there is also an advent calendar with stickers that children can use to the decorate the poster with the Jumper Tree. When the stickers are removed, they will also reveal a mention of a Christmas game or an article of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child.
